Mrs. Ridley Emily
Biography
Emily Ridley, BSc, is a Quality Improvement Nurse in Fluid Management and a Staff Nurse in an Acute Surgical Upper Gastro-intestinal ward in the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. She also has experience in Medicine for the Elderly, Head and Neck, Ophthalmology and Breast surgery. Emily spent a two year secondment working as a Clinical Skills Facilitator with the Practice and Professional Department, as well as working with the Tissue Viability Service. Since September 2015 she has worked with Dr Marcia McDougall to achieve improvement in Fluid Management in the acute sector as well as in Fife’s community hospitals. She meets the challenges this presents with enthusiasm and determination. Emily is a member of the Acute Kidney Injury Expert Reference Group for Health Improvement Scotland’s Patient Safety Programme.
