Dr. Kingwill Aidan
Biography
Aidan Kingwill holds a MBChB from the University of the Free State, South Africa. He qualified in 2008 and has had a special interest in anaesthesia and critical care since starting his training. He qualified as a specialist anaesthetist in 2016 and is a Fellow of the College of Anaesthetists of South Africa. During his specialist training he completed a MMed at the University of the Free State, South Africa. The focus of his research was in the field of peri operative echocardiography. He has presented his research nationally and has remained a keen echocardiography instructor since. He has recently been appointed as a Senior Clinical Fellow in Adult Intensive Care at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, United Kingdom. The focus of his current training is clinical critical care and point of care ultrasonography. He remains actively involved in teaching point of care ultrasound at a local and national level.
