Dr. Downham Jonathan
Biography
Jonathan is an Advanced Critical Care practitioner at Warwick Hospital in the UK. He has worked in the NHS for 30 years, most of that in the Critical Care environment. He started his role as an Advanced Critical Care practitioner at the Heart of England NHS Trust in 2011 after completing his Masters degree in Anaesthetic Practice at the University of Birmingham. He works with the other members of the National Association of Advanced Critical Care Practitioners to ensure that the roles continues to grow and standards are maintained. Jonathan is also a committee member of the Nurse and Allied Health professionals group with the Intensive Care Society and has been involved in the organising of the State of the Art conference over the last two years. Jonathan also produces a podcast “Critical Care Practitioner” which is now had more than 60 episodes and he hosts this from his website www.criticalcarepractitioner.co.uk.
